What Is the Logic Miniplate Anchorage?

The Logic Miniplate Anchorage is a bone-anchored device used in maxillary protraction — an orthodontic-surgical technique for managing skeletal Class III malocclusion (underbite) caused by maxillary deficiency. In this procedure, small titanium miniplates are surgically placed in the facial skeleton to provide stable anchorage points. Elastic forces are then applied between these anchorage points and the mandible, gradually protruding the maxilla into correct alignment.

The traditional approach uses generic miniplate designs that are adapted intraoperatively to fit the patient.
