3D Gens Celebrates 10 Years of Innovation in Additive Manufacturing

On 20 April 2026, 3D Gens reached a significant milestone: ten years of operations in additive manufacturing and digital solutions. From its earliest days as a small outfit driven by a vision to industrialise 3D printing in Malaysia, the company has grown into a recognised partner for institutions, hospitals, universities, government bodies, and manufacturers across the region.

A Decade Shaped by People

No milestone of this scale belongs to a single person or a single decision. The journey of 3D Gens has been defined by the people who believed in it — team members who stayed through the difficult early years, clients who trusted the technology before it was mainstream, partners who collaborated generously, and communities that embraced the opportunities additive manufacturing opened up for them.

Ten years in, the Genzoian community spans graduates of 3D Gens' training programmes, collaborating researchers, institutional partners, and industry allies — all connected by a shared belief that manufacturing technology should create opportunities, not barriers.

Farewell to Mr Qi

The anniversary also marked a moment of personal significance: a farewell to Mr Qi, who has been part of the 3D Gens journey. His contribution to the team over the years is acknowledged with gratitude, and his future endeavours are wished well.

Looking Ahead

A decade of growth has positioned 3D Gens well for the next chapter. With expanding capabilities in metal and polymer printing, a growing portfolio in medical applications, and a deepening network of institutional partners across Malaysia and the region, the foundation for the next ten years is firmly in place.

Here's to the next decade of innovation.
